Colossians 4

Christ is our master.

His name shall be glorified through us.

Reflect on the mystery of Christ; how Christ exemplifies the fullness of God; how Christ is the image of God; how the incarnation and death of Jesus Christ reconciles us to God.

Isn’t it amazing, the plans our Master has for us to be saved from our own spiral of sinning and destruction?

Serve as servants of our Master by proclaiming Christ:

To continue earnestly in prayer and,

Offer thanksgiving in it too.

Understanding His words means reading it daily and practising it in our lives.

Redeeming time when we practise what we preach is wise, for many will read our lives as we are like a walking book before their eyes.

Ministers need our prayers that they may know the mystery of Christ.

All brothers and sisters need our prayers too that God’s will be fulfilled for them.

Seasoning our speech with salt is important, like addressing the listener appropriately and practising manners as we speak to others.

To think before we speak helps us answer each other too, saying things you’d like said to you if you were in their shoes.

Each day we live, live a life that reflects Christ’s likeness.

Remember to serve faithfully doing the will of our Master.

How can I pray for my brethren and to my Master today?
