Matthew Chapter 16

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

~ Matthew 16:15 ~

This was a question posed by Jesus to His disciples. Do you have an answer?

Recently in the Zamar Fellowship (Ukulele Fellowship in TK), the sister who led asked us, “Who is Jesus to You?”

We went through a whole list….. Jesus is God. He is our Friend. He is our Saviour. He is the Prince of Peace. He is our Comfort. He is….. and the list continued.

It is quite easy to give all these “Biblical book” answers. But who do you really say Jesus is to you?

I took a pause and considered for a moment.

Your answer cannot be from others – your parents, friends, preachers or teachers. You need to have your own answer!

How we see Jesus really matters. So take a moment to think of how you see Jesus today.

Can we be as confident as Peter to say, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”?

So let us draw closer to Him day by day and trust Him to be all we need.
