这篇里的内容, 诗人描述了神的创造，整个自然界，包括光和黑暗，水和火焰，风，月亮，日头， 大地，走兽，飞鸟，高山，深水,  一草，一木。。。一切都很有秩序，有规律。(2-22) 而且在神的管理之下，一切生命都能得着滋润（10-13） 神也供给了人的需求，包括提供酒，油与粮食。（14-15） 不只是人，无数的动植物都蒙神的供应，欣欣向荣，各得其所（16-18） 黑夜是神让人休息的时候，但却给百兽寻食的机会。白天是神让百兽休息，但却是人工作的时间（20-23） 人出去作工，劳碌直到晚上。这节写出了人一生在世的生活起居，日出而作，日落而息，是如此自然有规律的。  神也不轻看各种动物的生命，一切的生命都在神手中。这样伟大和浩瀚的创造，真的是完美无缺。（27-30）  这诗人感动得要一生，还活着的时候，向神唱诗，歌颂，（诗104：33）。因为他认识了一切受造之物都是出于神，也是显出了神的荣耀和慈爱。因此，诗人心中充满了平安和喜乐（34），并且在最后一节提醒大家要赞美神（35）。  但愿我们能够学习像诗人一样，常常想起创造天地万物的神，无论我们处在人生的何境遇，顺境或逆境，得意或失意，只要我们还活着，就以感恩的心向神歌颂，唱诗，赞美！
