2 Peter,  2011 - Through The New Testament

2 Peter 3

Bible Passage: 2 Peter 3

S            o there is a saying to just “go with the flow”; to give in, relax, don’t work so hard.

T           empting isn’t it, to just let go and go with the flow of the world thinking “things will make me happy”, but is this according to God’s words?

E     ven a believer like you and me needs the Bible much because the flow of the world would carry us away with its way of life.

A    fter neglecting it for some time we might have forgotten God’s words, His promise to us.

D    aily chores, work, school, friends, family and the small things fit in the day, but where does God fit in?

F     or the next few minutes take time to read this chapter about His promise—it’s not slack.

A    s always God is ever mindful of us, refining us and remolding us lest we take the world’s form          and forgo our salvation.

S     teady, we shall go forward, moving toward our goal, looking homeward.

T     oday, we can remember once again that God’s promise is not slack so let’s not be slack with our faith.

What goals have you achieved so far in your journey of faith this year?
