Deuteronomy Chapter 28 – There is No In Between

A series of unimaginable blessings and frightful curses later, I am at an utter loss for words, only one question and one Bible verse comes to mind.

While in this world, no matter where you go, no matter who you become, do you not see how much your mostly insignificant, minute and trivial existence is at the mercy of the hand of God?

Knowing this all too well, what God asks and requires of us is simple and straightforward, that we wholeheartedly fear Him and do exactly as He instructs and commands for nothing is and can ever be hidden from Him; everything that ever was will be brought into judgement.

Our lives as Christians pan out in two very opposing directions – if we do not walk in God’s will for us, we are walking away from Him, and vice versa. Thus, in our daily prayers and devotions to God, let it never leave our lips that God continue to tarry with us, and us with Him, lest when He comes again, “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7: 21-23)
