Isaiah

Isaiah 52 – Have you joy and strength in our LORD’s coming salvation?

From the rising of the sun to its going down, are we moved to praise the LORD’s holy name (Psalm 113)?

From the moment we first claimed our faith in God as our own / personal / took personal ownership of our faith in God until now, is God’s saving grace, our salvation from God, still held in the highest esteem, protected and preserved with utmost care and regard?

Not enough words can describe or explain how much our LORD has done and continues to do for us, how little He asks in return, or some might view, in exchange for His salvation – we who have sinned and continually sin, at times, brought shame to our faith, to God’s name.

But our God, never once faltering in His faithfulness to and remembrance of His promises, no matter how sorely He has been let down, just because He is God, chose to be our God, chose us to be His people, will redeem both us and Himself in His appointed hour.

Knowing this then, does everyone around us, through us, see the full glory and the ripened fruit of the salvation of our God?

May God remind us, especially in the everyday, where our joy and strength come from and how to wholeheartedly keep them.
